Letters to Rogers [manuscript] 1974-1975.

The collection contains letters to Rogers from Carl Bode, Dee and Sally Brown, Mary Lewis Chapman, Jack Conroy, Murrell Edmunds, Al Robbins, Jesse Stuart, and Virgil Thorp, chiefly writing about their literary efforts, mutual friends and travels. With the letters is an exhibition catalog, 1974, of the Miniature Painters, Sculptors, and Gravers Society of Washington, D.C., listing works by Rogers for sale. The collection also contains photographs of the Gilloch and Pugh homes in Israel's Gap, Albemarle County, Va.;

Carl Bode was born March l4, l9ll in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Paul and Celeste Helene (Schmidt) Bode.
